Society

What is Society, as the totality of all humans living together on our beautiful planet Earth? If it exists as an entity, what are its attributes, by which it could be defined through the egalitarian way that concepts are formed in Integral Relational Logic.

Yes, groups of humans of ‘like-minded’ individuals gather in societies with a common purpose and culture. But, as we are all interdependent on each other for our health, well-being, and survival as a species, to what extent do humans recognize that Society exists?

Well, given the chaos the world is in today, not very much. Comparing Society to the human body, in the body politic, we are like specialist cells and organisms, which need to cooperate for the benefit of us all, as a whole.

At the core of our inability to view Society from the perspective of Wholeness is our attachment to money, as an immortality symbol. Yet, if we look deeply into ourselves, beyond our cultural conditioning, we discover much that we all share in common.

And at the heart of Society is Love, the Divine Essence we all share. Such a recognition is all that matters at the end of time. For, as Guy McPherson often says at the end of his ‘Nature Bats Last’ videos on YouTube, “At the edge of extinction, only Love remains.”
