Harmonizing Evolutionary Convergence

awake

Although the etymology of awake relates to the way that we are aroused from sleep in the mornings, when the sun rises, the word is being increasingly used in society today to indicate spiritual awakening, as millions are seeking to realize the True Nature that we all share, in union with the Divine.

The implication is thus that most are today living in darkness or semi-light, having limited understanding of what it truly means to be an intelligent human being, in contrast to machines with so-called artificial intelligence.

Traditionally, those seeking union with the Divine have withdrawn from society as celibate monks and nuns, following an involutionary, dying path, as the sense of a separate self disappears in Nonduality.

However, such spiritual practices are one-sided, not sufficient to understand what is causing scientists and technologists to drive the pace of scientific discovery and technological development at unprecedented rates of exponential acceleration.

Such an understanding of humanity’s place within the Universe arises when all the divergent streams of bifurcating evolution converge in Wholeness, thereby healing the fragmented mind and split psyche.

At this Omega Point, evolution has reached its glorious culmination, where there are no longer any divisions between spirituality and science, mysticism and mathematics, East and West, or any other opposites.

We are then fully awakened beings, able to live in love, peace, and harmony with each other, free of attachment to money, the most divisive force on the planet at the present time.

Etymology

Probably before 1200, awaken ‘wake up’, from merger of Old English āwæcnan ‘to awake, arise, originate’ and āwacian ‘to awaken, revive; arise; originate, spring from’, from ā- ‘intensive prefix marking an act as a single event’, from Old High German ur- ‘away, out’, from PIE base *ud- ‘up, out’, and Proto-Germanic *wak- ‘rouse from sleep’, from PIE base *weg- ‘to be strong, be lively’.
