Sincere today means honest, straightforward, free from pretence or deceit, proceeding from genuine feelings, qualities that arise when we co-create and grow as one, as we see from its Latin and PIE roots.
Etymology
Latin sinērus ‘pure, unmixed, whole, sound, genuine’, perhaps originally ‘of one growth, created as one’, from PIE bases *sem- ‘one, same’ and *ker²- ‘to grow’.
