In Integral Relational Logic, particulars are entities, as instances of classes, which are universals, entity and class being primal concepts.
For instance, all eight billion humans are particular instances of the universal class Human, with a wide variety of attributes. Similarly, the countless cells in our bodies and the myriads of stars in the physical universe are particulars of the universals Cell and Star, respectively.
It is important to remember here that particulars are concepts resident in the Cosmic Psyche. So, no particular particular is more significant than any other within the overall scheme of things. All particulars and the relationships between them are participating in līlā ‘the play of the Divine’ and thus ultimately merge into indivisible Wholeness.
