es-

PIE base ‘is, to be’. See also *bheuə-, PIE root of ‘be’, and *wes-¹, PIE root of ‘was’.

Other derivatives include Old English sōth ‘true’, sin, absent, proud, and satyagraha, from Sanskrit sat-, sant- ‘existing, true, virtuous’, quintessence, and parousia.

[Pokorny *es-, pp. 340–342.]

Parousia

In Panosophy, Parousia is a synonym of Presence, with the same Proto-Indo-European roots, literally meaning ‘before being’ or ‘prior to existence’, as the Absolute.

bodhisattva

One who works in the world as a fully awakened being.

soothsayer

A soothsayer is someone who speaks the truth, a meaning that has long been lost, as Western civilization has increasingly moved away from Reality.

As soothsayer has also meant ‘prophet’ since the late fourteenth century, it is time to listen those who are honestly telling humanity what it does want to hear about near-term extinction.

For such understanding is profoundly soothing, as we become liberated from the sense of a separate self.

soothe

Soothe means ‘to quiet, calm, comfort’, deriving from archaic sooth ‘true’. The etymology of soothe indicates a terrible indictment of the English-speaking peoples in Western civilization.

is

When we look at ourselves and the world we live in free of distorted personal, cultural, and collective conditioning, we see What is, which ultimately is grounded in the Truth, encapsulated in the Sanskrit Sat ‘Absolute Truth’, with the same PIE base. Both East and West have a common ancestor in this respect, a similar perception of being, the most fundamental of all concepts, helping us to heal this deep wound in the collective psyche.
