Paul Hague

For fun, I include the roots of my legal name, which means ‘dweller by or in a small field surrounded by hedges’.

So, to return Home to Wholeness, Life has led me to be free of the constraints of my official identity, unlike Indian children, who are often given names for spiritual qualities for them to grow into.

Hague

My family name, inherited from the Vikings, who settled in Yorkshire in north-eastern England, where my great-great-great grandfather David was born in 1786. In 1817, he married Mary from Haworth, three years before the Brontë family moved there.

Surprisingly, a DNA analysis indicates that my forebears came from western Sweden, where I live today, rather than Denmark.
