Oneness

Oneness is a popular word in spiritual circles, indicating the goal of the spiritual seeker to realize union with the Divine, free of the sense of a separate self.

As none of us is ever separate from the Absolute in Reality, realizing Oneness is accomplished by transcending the categories, which tend to divide, even though they are needed for dealing with the practicalities of everyday life.

Oneness is the opposite of Wholeness, as the union of Wholeness and Oneness.

universal

In Integral Relational Logic, universals are concepts or mental images formed by abstracting the attributes of particular instances. For instance, in our lifetimes we may eat many different apples, each of which is represented as a particular concept in the mind. All these experiences lead to the abstract concept of apple, as a universal, which does not match any particular observation in what people call the ‘real world’.

university

Since the fourteenth century, a university has been the entire body of teachers and scholars engaged, at a particular place, in giving and receiving instruction in the higher branches of learning; such persons associated together as a society or corporate body.

Universe

In Panosophy, Universe is the Totality of Existence, most exquisitely denoted by the Sanskrit word Satchitānanda ‘Bliss of Absolute Truth and Consciousness’.
